Veterans Point at Vision Park was created for the City of Shenandoah as a place to honor the men and women who have served our country while providing a meaningful destination for reflection, remembrance, and community gathering.

The memorial recognizes all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces and incorporates elements representing land, air, and sea service. Thoughtfully integrated into the park setting, Veterans Point offers visitors opportunities to pause, reflect, and connect with the stories and sacrifices of those who have served.

The project was designed to create a unique and welcoming public space that balances memorial significance with everyday community use. Gathering areas, memorial features, and scenic waterfront views work together to create an environment that encourages both personal reflection and connection within the community.

Careful coordination throughout design and construction ensured that a major city water line beneath the site remained protected while the vision for the memorial was successfully realized.

Completed in 2024, Veterans Point stands as a lasting tribute to service, sacrifice, and the enduring connection between a community and those who have served it.
